Employers based in capital cities and surrounding areas can nominate employees for permanent residency under the scheme:

• Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS – SC 186 Visa) 

While employers based in Regional Australia can nominate employees for permanent residency under the more simplified scheme:

• Regional Skilled Migration Scheme (RSMS– SC 187 Visa)

Both ENS and RSMS visas can be applied under one the three streams:

• Temporary Residence Transition Stream
• Direct Entry Stream
• Agreement Stream
