Permanent Visa – SC 189 New Zealand Stream
This is a recently introduced stream within Subclass 189 Visa which is specifically available for long term New Zealand citizens settled in Australia to become Australian Permanent residents.
It is not a points tested visa, neither

- For New Zealand citizens settled in Australia
- A Permanent visa – NOT points tested.
- No age limit, skills assessment or English language requirements
Requirements for applying:
- New Zealand citizen resident in Australia for over 5 years
- ATO Tax assessment showing income of over $ 53,900 every year in the last 4 financial years (FY 2016-17, 2015-16, 2014-15 & 2013-14)
